As Marketing Coordinator, Cheryl promotes Dr. Gen’s office to the community, schools, and businesses in the local area. Although Cheryl does not work with patients directly, she loves to watch their transformation as they progress through treatment! She loves working with Dr. Gen because of the way he handles each patient’s case with professionalism, respect, and sensitivity. Cheryl has been happily married to her husband, Bob, for over 20 years, and they have three very active boys together! She is an avid runner and biker, and she loves to do anything physical. Cheryl also enjoys travelling and shopping, and spending time with her family!

Dawn works as a Clinical Assistant to Dr. Gen, and she loves every moment! Dawn tries to make each appointment feel very personal, and educate patients about their procedures so they are more comfortable. Dawn loves working with Dr. Gen because he is a fantastic orthodontist, who is always looking for opportunities to improve his craft for better patient care with the best results! Dawn has a wonderful husband, Roy, and two terrific children, Mitchell and Hannah. She also shares her home with her very high strung Jack Russell terrier named Dixie. Dawn enjoys reading a good book, doing crafts, and going for walks in the park.

Ashley works as the Financial Coordinator at Dr. Gen Orthodontics. Ashley works hard with your insurance providers and with OrthoFi to ensure that each patient is on track! She enjoys working at Dr. Gen Orthodontics because of the great staff and the relationship that she gets to build with our patients and their families! Ashley enjoys spending time with her son, Dylan. During her free time, you can find her at the gym or enjoying quality time with her family and friends!

Matthew is the Office Coordinator at Dr. Gen Orthodontics. He makes sure that the day-to-day operations at the office run smoothly. Matthew was born and raised in the Chicago area, but has lived in Madison, Wisconsin, as well as the Columbus area while his wife, Claire, completed medical school at Ohio State University. Matthew studied at the University of Wisconsin (Go Badgers!). In his free time, Matthew enjoys skiing and working around the house. He loves to spend time with his amazing and beautiful wife and their kitten, Avalanche (Avi, for short). Matthew has two different colored eyes! Take a look next time you stop by the office!

Maggie works as a Treatment Coordinator at Dr. Gen Orthodontics. She helps our new patients begin their journey to a new smile! Maggie was born and raised in Cleveland, and currently lives in the Mayfield area with her dog, Chino! She attended Summit Dental Learning and is a certified dental assistant. Maggie also has her radiology license. She travels as often as she can, and enjoys doing yoga and anything outside during the warm summer months. Maggie loves to spend time with her boyfriend and family, and you can find her checking out events downtown and trying new restaurants in her free time. Maggie has worked in the dental field for 7 years, and she can’t imagine doing anything else!

Kaylin works with Dr. Gen as a Clinical Assistant, and is the Sterilization Coordinator for both offices. She ensures that all of the instruments that Dr. Gen needs for his patients are clean and sterile each time! Kaylin completed dental school with Cristen, where she first learned about Dr. Gen Orthodontics. She loves working with Dr. Gen because she enjoys her relationship with her patients and co-workers. When Kaylin is not at work, she is spending time with her son. She likes doing hair and makeup, as well as spending time with her family.

Cristen works as a Clinical Assistant, as well as with Cheryl on the marketing team! She graduated from dental assisting school and has always had a particular interest in orthodontics. Cristen really enjoys working with the team at Dr. Gen Orthodontics, and especially with Dr. Gen! When Cristen is away from work, she enjoys spending time with her family, making handmade soaps with her mom, and selling them at local craft shows.
